The OW-ENV-T temperature sensor is designed for general-purpose ambient temperature measurement applications. It is constructed of high impact ABS plastic, ivory in color, and suited for wall or surface mounting. The OW-ENV-T is vented for good thermal contact with the ambient air. The back half of the ABS enclosure can be removed for a low profile wall mounting with a single screw through the center of the enclosure.
The OW-ENV-T simplifies installing 1-Wire networks by providing a pass through 1-Wire connections (like all OW-ENV sensors) and auto configuring the VDD pin to ground if external +5V is not provided. VDD must be grounded for parasitic operation.
The OW-ENV-T is directly compatible with all Embedded Data Systems and Maxim 1-Wire bus masters, as well as the freely available TMEX drivers and OWFS. For complete documentation on the embedded
