This RFID device reads RFID tags running in the 13.56 Mhz band (ISO14443). Each tag has its own unique identification number, which is sent through 1-wire bus by emulating a DS1990A iButton.
The color of the cable may vary.
Features
- reads RFID tags running in the 13.56 Mhz band
- data are sent by emulating a DS1990 iButton
- plastic casing
- designed to be mounted with glue
- standard wire ~40 cm
- bi-color LED
- joining colors green and red we get orange
- no series resistor required, simply connect LED cathode to GND
- low-cost
Programming
Supported 1-wire commands:
- 33h (Read Rom)
- F0h (Search Rom)
The emulated 64-Bit ROM consists of:
- CRC (1 Byte)
- RFID Serial number (6 Bytes)
- Family Code DS1990 (0x01)
The reader sends zero (00h) on identification numbers that are less than 6 bytes long. Numbers longer than 6 bytes are truncated to the 6 least significant bytes (LSB).
Applications
- Cash registers
- Time and attendance
- Access control
